Ok stick with me here…... I would never build this and spend time on a napkin holder. Nor would I sacrifice the wood for it. It is not a project that would interest me. That said…I love it man. The true measure of talent is when a guy builds a project I wouldn’t even consider and causes me to pause and admire it. That my friend is skill appreciated. Nice work on all your stuff.

Dan, I generally never spend time on projects like this either but the wood was all scrap that would have gone into my fireplace, I needed a napkin holder, and these days I just enjoy woodworking to the point where I don’t really care what I’m working on.
