This is a project I made for a friend who has an elderly dog who had a hard time getting onto the bed.
I made the steps out of quarter-sawn white oak to match her Mission style bedroom furniture.
Her dog had to be trained to use them and is more comfortable going up rather than going down.
In hindsight, I should have made the steps a little lower and the treads a bit bigger.
