I finally got around to building proper cabinets in my laundry room – replacing the MDF shelves installed by the builder. I used the Marc Sommerfeld router bit system and pocket screws for the frame, and simple shaker style doors. The inside shelves use UV finished plywood – the same material used for the backing panel for the ironing board holder.
Frames are poplar, with birch plywood for the door panels.
Pictures 4 & 5 are the before.
