I was asked to get a plaque made for the Mason of the year in one of my the Lodges I belong to, so I decided it would mean a lot more to the Brother receiving it if I made one. It is 11”x14”, made from 1/8” baltic birch ply, finished with danish oil, and it was 218 cuts.

Greetings Brother Greg: That’s a beautiful plaque you made for the Brother. I know he’ll be very proud of it—I would be. I am also a Brother Mason, and a 3rd degree Master mason. I was raised in 1972, and been a member in good standing all this time. I am proud to be a member of such a great fraternal organization. This is the first time I’ve heard of such an award given out. I don’t think my lodge ever did that, buit it’s a good thing.

Greg you really you done a very good job. I’m a 50 year mason my self, our lodge here in Des Moines has a problem not very lodges have-we’re in the process of raising in 35 new members. Got a bunch of young guys in the chairs and they are going like a house afire. Basically I’m a belly mason-eat and go home.
