This is how to take a 16 cup holder that I bought at a yard sale..a local discount sells it for $9… and add the top 2 rows for a little effort gaining 12 more sections for K cups. now a 28 cup holder.
The design speaks a lot for itself but the base is 12 inch high and the total now 17 inch. The square top was 6 inch by 6 inch and I test fit the bottom pieces then the upper pieces and would it fit under my upper cabinet. I have over an inch of clearance. I used hot glue to attach the pieces since this is low stress and I may have to change the design.
In a real learning. I tried adding a vertical row beside each row and it looked great. 4 rows of 4 more cups, HOWEVER each new row hit the back of the row to the right angle and would knock out a cup so not a workable idea. That’s how I got the 4 pieces with holes, just experimenting with the 4 strips, put them on top and cut off the extra. K cups are an inch and 3/8 hole. Now I can stock more and not have to restock more. More Hot Chocolate for the Wife.

You must drink a lot of coffee as that holds a lot of K cups!

Have you ever seen the K cups from San Francisco coffee company?

They don’t have the plastic bottoms and because of that need to be stored in a closed container.
