My first experiment with laminated wood on the lathe. I was nervous leading to turning the inside, I had visions of the top flying off… made of walnut and maple it is 8 inches in diameter and 3 ¾ tall.
Finished with oil and wax. I am not happy about the underside, the screw holes are unsightly. I am in the process of building a “doughnut chuck”.Segmented piece next?
Kind of Ying and Yang but after seeing the entries so far I have got no chances.

Thanks for looking

Very nice bowl. I like the contrast between the walnut and maple combo. They go very well together.

Looking forward to watching your progress.

Keep it up.

This is a really nice bowl. You chose a good combination of woods as maple and walnut contrast well with one another.
