Seems to work. Drill through with a 10mm bit because most screws have heads too big to fit in 8mm. Just enough to create a ledge, then put the jig away and drill down normally, through the ledge.

Made by drilling straight down through a bit of 4×2 then cutting it up on an angle.

Very nice and simple. Basicaly it’s all that expensive Kregg set do.

I got a book out of the library on pocket hole joinery and it seemed pretty straight forward
