Just one of my many projects over Christmas, I found the plans for this one in Fine Woodworking’s annual issue of Tools and Shops. I made some minor changes to the overall plan and instead of going out and buying an expensive stop system I made my own. Thanks for looking and have a happy new year!

EDIT I lost the files on my old computer so unfortunately I no longer have the plans for this station so I cannot send them to anyone who asks for them like I said I would in the comments below, sorry. Also I have made a few improvements to this project which can be seen here

Hi Chris!

Looks nice! I will have to look up that plan. I took apart my radial arm saw over xmas as I never use it and mounted my miter saw on top as the table is really a nice one. My next step was to build extensions as you have.

See you in a few days at HC.

Great piece of work. You shouldn’t have a problem finding a job when you finish your course.

Happy new year.

Very, very cool. That is a sweet setup. That should serve you well for a long time to come. Great job!

Great work Chris. I really liked the stop you designed and made, not to mention the whole set-up. Very well done. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment and use from it.

Hi Chris,
I like that slick flip up stop system. Very nice design and workmanship.
You appreciate it more if you make it yourself.

Swing-out wings, adjustable stops, adjustable fence, fixed tape – dang that’s sweet!
