So this table is a project that is close to my heart. My grandparents who owned this table passed away about 4 moths ago. I thought it would be nice to redo the table so that my family could still enjoy it. The table started out with a few cracks and burn from use over time.

So I stared with removing the top. Then filled the cracks with wood filler and sanding it.

here is the metal base with out the top.

Once sanding was done I applied the First cost of stain and found that it was a little too red for my taste.

so I found another stain that was darker and here it the finished top.

So I’m now excited to be able to use the new table with the family and make more memories with it.
