This vanity was built using all solid face frames and cherry panels. The only plywood on this cabinet is the inside bottom and back of the cabinet and the drawers. The whole cabinet was distressed to give it a rustic look and then it was finished with cherry stain and water based poly. The corner posts on the cabinet are 2” x 2” solid cherry with 7/8” stiles and rails on the cabinet.

My wife and I made the concrete countertop together and I must say I was pretty happy with the way it turned out, especially since it was our first concrete countertop. We basically gutted the whole room and installed the tile, tub and I also built the tub enclosure as well. It is a whirlpool tub so I needed a removeable access panel.

That is sweet. I love the design. The cherry looks scrumptious.
I didn’t know people poured their own counter tops. Cool.

Herb, this is a gorgeous vanity. I like the design that you have and the countertop is something both of you should be proud of.
