a pipe I carved from a piece of beaver chewed wood I found whilst on a walk.

The bowl is actually made in a knot of the wood. Used a hand drill to hollow out the stem and a combination of hand drill and precision chisels to do the bowl.

Because I am not %100 on what type of wood it is, I am reluctant to let anyone actually smoke out of it, but it was an awful lot of fun to carve.

Probably willow (Salix spp.) and probably not as harmful as the tar and nicotine.

That is a neat little pipe and nice story to go with it. Maybe the beaver would want it to back with a pouch of tobacco to go with it.!!Ha Ha…..........cheers, Jim
