This is a yarn swifter I made for a friend of my wife. She is moving to Texas in august and she asked me if I could make her one. I had went on the internet to get a good design because I did not know what a yarn swifter was. I saw some different designs so I made this one that you can take a part and put back together for easy storage and travel.

Very nice. I don’t know anything about knitting tools, but, I’d say by you making this easy to assemble and disassemble, it’s gotta be great.

That looks very similar to one that I made my wife several years ago. I didn’t make mine quite so modular or finished, as it was one of my very first woodworking projects. It was basically one of those “They want how much for that? I can make you one of those!”. They are very handy for large bundles of loose yarn along with a yarn ball winder.
Have your say...
