I’m always reading about how turners here on lumberjocks have their pieces start out in the firewood pile and end up on the lathe. Too often in my shop, my pieces start out on the lathe and end up in the firewood pile. This bowl almost ended up there, but I was able to come up with a save. I made a video of the project. It’s a base coat of black milk paint, followed by a coat of turquoise milk paint, which was distressed with sand paper. I then top coated with paste wax.
