It is my 50th High School reunion and I made plaques on the scrollsaw for my fellow classmates. The design is by Keith Fenton and is in the “Intersecting Word Art” style.

Hand cut 60 plaques from 1/2 inch red oak plywood and used 1/4 inch birch plywood as the backer. The last picture shows the backers painted red (School color) and masked out, so I could use regular glue to attach the back to the front. I did use a couple of drops of P6000 glue in the center (This glue can glue wood to a painted surface).
