These are kinda old, but I thought I would post, being new and all!
My wife is addicted to makeup. She asked if I could make a rack to hold her MAC pigments. I had some 1/2” birch ply and figured it would be a good first project for my new table saw. All shelves sit in dadoes with a few brads to hold them in place. I made a quick jig to drill the cups quickly.

I made a few extra since it was just as easy (assembly line style). The one on hanging on the left (the wife painted them) was the first prototype. The one on the right is on of the “production” models.

Each of those pigments are $19.50, each rack holds 40 pigments. Each of the racks cost about $5.00 in materials to make!

I’m being told by my girlfriend that Mac just changed their pigment packaging to something slimmer and taller. Hopefully you don’t end up having to do this all over again!

At least the cost of materials isn’t bad. =)
