This baseball theme bedroom was built in April 2016. I worked with the customer and took from several example of past project that I created.

Inspired From
Dugout Loft
Murphy Baseball Loft
Baseball Bed

The center piece is the Bunk bed. It was may standard loft shape with a ladder. The safety rails used real Louisville Slugger bats. I added a large scoreboard on the back side and let the customer supply all the score and team information. I originally planned on using vinyl for the lettering, but at the last minute wanted to try something new so I carved it in there. Although it is hard to see in pictures, it really improved the look.

Under the loft I have the full size bed turned 90 degrees. They wanted a bat in the footboard, but the span was too wide just to suspend it between the post, so I made a cutout for it. Also under the loft is bookcases that is accessed from the out side. I did make a cutout on the top section so the child could have access from the inside as well.

Also built with this suite was a desk with home plates as the top and some taller bookcases. I’ll write more about them in a followup post.

The customer sent me that first picture and have a great review on Yelp.

Yelp Review
“There are very few experiences in life that were better than working with Chris Davis to create a WOW bedroom for my son. From the first telephone call with Chris he understood what my wife and I wanted to create, and through the entire process his communication with us was flawless. With Chris’ help wwbeds built a bunk bed with built in locker and a scoreboard, personalized tall lockers, a baseball desk as well as some additional cabinets. Nothing we asked for was ever a problem, and once the completed furniture arrived it was in our eyes nothing less than spectacular.

None of that would have mattered if the bedroom did not meet make our son happy…and our son has been ecstatic since the bed, lockers and desk were installed. In fact when they were being assembled my son sat in the room, smiled, laughed and when everything was complete kissed the bed.

Not only did Chris and the company make our thoughts come to life, but my Five year old son says to me every night…“Dad, you know I have the best bedroom in the entire world” Nothing can top that and we have and Chris to thank for it.”

Even though I’m a Brewer fan – Those are really cool beds. Very nice detail.

Where were you when I was a kid? I would have loved this.
