This is my second mesquite wood box, I like my boxes pretty simple but I put three rings on the side of this one. The rings sorta hide where the lid is if you march up the grains. I made this lid with a suction fit and when placed on top it hovers its way down on a cushion of air until its seated in place. The finish is friction polish just to seal it then hand rubed wax on top for a natural look. The box measures 2 1/2” tall with a 3” diameter. Thanks for viewing, Andy.

Good looking box with good proportions Andy. I also like to work with mesquite because I’ve got plenty of them on the farm.
