This is a woodcarving that I made for Conner Prairie project in Indianapolis Indiana. This started out to be relief carving on the state but ended up being chip carving. The piece is approx. 4’-6” x 3’-0” and the poplar back panel is 9/4 with a applied basswood panel that is 4/4.
