This piece is solid Birdseye maple for the main body, with a hand cut three way bookmatch veneer for the top and bottom. The interior is solid Spanish cedar with two trays and at the very bottom open storage with adjustable dividers. Humidification is via a ciga oasis electronic unit mounted to the lid interior . Six coats of lacquer and a full hand polish.

It a pears to be a “seamless” project … no visible seam between the top and bottom.
That is a real nice project, well done, and well finished.
Did you build it as a closed box and then cut the top from the bottom?

Thank you and yes. Built the box , then cut the lid from the body. Then finished the interior.
