Walnut carcass with maple bottom and lid panels. Fractal burnt sides with a 2000v transformer. Miters cut on miter saw with stop block.
Panel mortoises cut on table saw, rabbet for lid and lid detail on router table. About 10” wide, 6” deep, and 4” tall. Sides are 3/4” thick. The wife wants a turquoise colored stone pull knob on top to contrast. I like the idea of a mixed media piece.

Having fun with the fractal burning, you never know what you’re going to get.
