This was a quick evening project to fight off boredom. When I built this workbench, i had intentions of using it for a out feed for the Table saw. However I ended up mounting my drill chargers on the side of the table, so I always had to keep the saw away from the table, so I could get to the chargers. I just never found an ideal place to mount them, that I liked…...until this epiphany. I already had the shelving installed in the bench, so it was just a matter of attaching a door to the shelf with a piano hinge, and mounting the chargers on the door. I have a door magnet attached that keeps it closed.
I have a 4ft power strip attached to the bench, so I can plug them in right above them. The only puzzle I haven’t solved is how to keep the access power cord out of the way.
I like to refer to these as mini projects…..but still fun!

Hey! I like that. I just built one myself.
It’s’ one of those things that you put off and once you build it you wonder why you didn’t do it sooner!
