Segmented bowl for pencils or kitchen utilities

This is a segmented bowl I made out of walnut and maple. I’ve made a couple of these for my wife who uses them to hold pens and pencils, as well as kitchen utensils. I turned it on my lathe although sometimes I would say I sanded it on my lathe because I’m still a novice in turning.

Awesome and my favourite brick wall pattern. Nice design. It looks much bigger than realy is if you said it’s a pencil holder.

Nice look. I like the curves. Can never go wrong mixing maple and walnut.
