So this is one of my restored furniture pieces. It’s a simple magazine rack with heart cutouts and a patterned skirt/apron around the top. It’s important to me because it’s the first time I’ve been paid to do any sort of woodworking. The customer, a friend, simply wanted the piece stripped and restained and finished. This piece has a dark walnut stain on it and a couple of coats of Wipe-On Satin Poly.

Building things in a NYC apartment is hard, and I’ve found furniture refinishing and restoration to be simpler to handle with the time and tools I have. Enjoy!
