Mothers Day present for my daughter. Made of:

Body/lid: Curly Maple with Bloodwood accents
Splines: Bloodwood
Handle: Wenge
Bottom: Italian leather

I really liked that I started with thicker material for the lid, which allowed me to give more depth than with the other ones I did in the past.

Andy, that is outstanding!
it looks as if it was made out of cloth material as opposed to wood!

Very well done. ROB-E!

The sort of wrinkled look is just for us OLD guys?

It is definitely a project to be proud of!

It’s beautiful and very creative. I love the way the four strips look after they were shaped along with the top.

Awesome work on those vawes, they look pretty much realistic, like some fluid.

Well done, and thanks for the credit.
I like the maple with the strong color contrasts.
