This is a kitchen display unit for one of the high end kitchen stores in my city. The smaller cabinet above the fridge can be pulled out to house a bigger fridge in the future if needed. It’s painted BMW Mini chili red. My first time using car paint. Hopefully I don’t get to many request’s to have stuff painted like this becuase I definately like lacquering alot more, lol. I just used mdf for everything that was painted red. Countertop is a premium laminate with a beveled edge.

Awesome color! I could see this in a trendy loft condo. Are there many trendy loft condos in Saskatoon?
Good stuff!

I wish I had that painting talent. I’m great at runs and craters. LOL

Great job

There are some trendy condo’s going up. Not alot but there are some. I think alot of younger couples would like this sort of cabinet. The paint turned out pretty good but it’s not perfect when you see it in person. It’s about as good as i could hope for though coming from just my shop and not an actual body shop. I have an open faced spray booth but it can only do so much since it’s just one open area with all my tools. Would be nice to have a seperate room for just spraying.

You have painted them really good, I have had trouble of drying with red color when I used two component paints. Problem is big amount of pigment in red color, maybe you didnĀ“t have this promlem with car paint?
