A few years ago I picked up some big pallets from a heavy equipment dealer and made some raised garden beds for my wife. Those were in use for a few years until she no longer had time for them anymore.

I took them down at the end of the season and thought I would try and use as much of the wood as I could for some serving trays. I found enough Oak in there to make one tray and just enough Maple for another tray. I must say that Oak looks much better than the maple. The maple looks kinda grey even after sanding an finishing.

So, I guess you can say these are made from Re-Reclaimed wood.

Here is a link to the build video if your interested.

Very nice! Great looking trays and a “double added plus” for using re-reclaimed wood. :-)
I love it when I find nice pallet wood, it feels like you’ve struck hidden treasure. (Wife rolling her eyes at me).
