Simple scales made from Brasilian Cherry on a jig saw blade.
I used superglue on the Blade x wood and Titebond III for the wood.
A bolt was used as pin.
Finishing is tunge oil.

While I’d never discourage making something useful out of wood, I think this could be difficult to use once dull. Just as fyi, Milwaukee makes a folding hand saw that uses these blades. I have one and love it.
