This is a zebrawood box I finished recently. The top frame, corner dovetails, hinges and feet are walnut. The top insert is double bookmatched veneer sliced from a piece of walnut burl attached to 1/8” BB plywood with contact cement. The inside lining is purple ultrasuede. I used an Incra Jig to cut the dovetails and make the hinges. The finish is three applications of Watco Danish Oil; the final coat was applied with 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper.

Very unique! I love the hinges and your corner treatments are are a nice difference from the usual. the Feet are pretty slick too.

How is zebrawood to work?
