Well, my brother has been playing around with DIY effects pedals for his guitar and he asked me to build him a couple boxes that he could put the electronic “guts” in. The base is cherry, veneers are quilted mahogany & rosewood, the binding african blackwood with maple purfling and the back cover is aluminum that I sprayed with black appliance epoxy. The knobs are african blackwood as well with a pearl dot. I finished them with urethane and sanded/buffed them out.

Beautiful craftsmanship and photography! As a guitarist I wonder, what effects are they? Does he plan to label them or leave them alone (since he obviously knows what they are).

Thank you all very much, these were fun to build. I’m not sure exactly where the parts were from, he pieced them together from schematics.
