There were a couple of firsts using the CNC on these cribbage boards. I was finally able to figure out how to drill the holes and cut the pockets for cards and pins using V-Carve…saving me a lot of time at the drill press. I had originally planned to cut the pocket on the back of the block and make a cover the slid in place…hence the layering of the pockets on the Twins board. I scrapped that idea and decided to split the blocks and add hinges and a second logo to dress them up. The logos were cut wtih the CNC, then hand painted. They’re finished with Spanish oak stain and 3 coats of wipe on clear gloss poly.
