This is not a map of the Rocky Mountains. It is a “Trivet” sanded to 4000 grit sandpaper and polished with 3 levels of jewelers rouge. It is a section of “Burl, and it also highlights a live edge. This chunk of wood sure looks better in person than in photo.

Trivet: A device used as an insulator between a hot & cold object. Hot skillet and counter top. Hope that helps.
