I wanted a lathe bench that was mobile, but still stable when I used the lathe. The bench is mostly made from double layers of 3/4 MDF and birch trim. Full extension glides on the three drawers. Storage for all my lathe asserories. Smaller lathe tools are in two bottomless drawers (no shavings will collect in them). Longer bowl tools are stored in PVC pipes on the right side of the bench. Access to grinding wheel just to the left of the lathe. Also have a dust collector on the back side of the lathe. The bench is heavy enough that any out round chunks of wood doesn’t really shake or move the bench, although I can add a heavy sandbag to the bottom shelf for additional weight. Bench was finished in a spar varnish so pretty easy to clean the surfaces of dust and shavings. I should say this bench is not my design, but one I found on the net and modified for my use.

Nice I have a very similar set-up. Had a wet grinder on top, wasn’t happy with that. went to slow speed grinder with CBN Wheels and Wolverine one jog like you. Nice idea on the drawers.
