Router Table

I made this router a while ago but only now am I getting around to posting it. I was looking online for a while trying to incorporate other peoples designs with my own wants and needs, I made it out of MDF and pine, two relatively inexpensive materials. The table top and fence up until last weekend where going to be a permanent feature, then while at a woodworking show I viewed a nice table, fence and router lift by Incra to the tune of ~$600.00 I didn’t get it there but I do see it in my future, my bank account isn’t very happy with me right now haha. There is a main dust port at the rear of the inside cabinet connecting to a 4” line and a secondary dust port in the fence that is a 1-1/2” line, I couldn’t be happier with the dust collection, it is a lot better than my previous 1990’s craftsman open base stand. There is a on/off switch located on the front of the base with cover so it is easy to turn off in a hurry (just in case) I have had it for about 8 months now and am very pleased with it’s performance, once I get the Incra accessories it will be even better, it better be for that price anyway lol.

Nice looking RT. You’ll love the Incra jig stuff. I have an Incra-jig fence on mine and love it.

I like your router table, and I agree there is no comparison to an open base style router table.
