It’s been 50 years since my discharge from the US Air Force and 16 years ago I had to quit riding Harleys -so time to sit back and enjoy the memory! I built this shadow box to organize the memorabilia with two added features.
The box is built from “tiger maple” and walnut with blue felt used on display backing. Dimensions are
19” wide,17”high,& 9”deep. Finish is 6 coats of Arm-R-Seal over vintage maple Trans Tint dye.
The center section contains a clock and three weather instruments. The last section contains an empty
Jack Daniels decanter to hold my ashes when i’m gone.I figure after many years of enjoying this fine whisky it would
be a fitting place for my remains!!
Thanks for looking—All comments welcome !
