I’m turning some eggs for Easter. These three were left over pieces from the Yellow Cedar Birds Eye Burl that the bowl was turned from. The “straw” is from some Yellow Cedar bowls I turned. The bowl is 7.75” by 2.75”. Love the smell of this wood! -- John, Sunshine Coast, BC, Canada. | |||||||

Wow Beautiful! (Do wood eggs hatch into Wood Ducks?) Did you know that the great Russian jeweler Faberge (famous for his jeweled eggs) also carved elegant wooden objects from Russian Birch? You have joined an elite group of craftsmen. Thanks for sharing and HAPPY EASTER!
