This week I designed and created 18 trophies to give out to the Point Series Champions in Snowshoeing, Cross Country Skiing, and Fat Tire Biking. The upper part of the trophy is Soft Maple, the Base is Poplar. The trophies were designed with my CAD software and cutout on my CNC with a 5 degree V Bit, an 1/8 inch End Mill, and a 1/4 inch End Mill. There was a bit of cleanup to do with a hand chisel and sandpaper, I then gave them a wash on the sides with thinned Tempera paint. The information was Laser engraved and then they had a clear stain applied. The bases were cut on the table saw, Laser engraved, and then stained. The two pieces were joined together with a 1 1/2 inch deck screw.

Those are way cooler than the brass ones.
