Our local Boys and Girls club has a very active fund raising program which is anchored by their annual “5 Chef’s Dinner and Silent Auction”. This year I was again invited to add one of my jewelry boxes to the auction. Again, we had some successful bidding: $400 in a nice amount that goes directly to the Club’s bottom line!
This box is walnut from a local Orange County Virginia tree. And pecan from a Norfolk Virginia tree. The sides are mitred with walnut splines. All the light wood details are from the pecan.
