Friend of mine is a photographer. He says that each wedding can be like 50GB of data, so he buys a lot of hard-drives. The problem is he sometimes needs to tote them around to jobs and such and he tried building one, but it didn’t go.

So this is what I came up with, based on his original design. Just some slots evenly spaced with a raised back so I could cut out a handle. Again, used my favorite 17mm ply.

I imagine this basic design could be altered to make a tote for almost anything.
