Bedside table with lower shelf to hold books at 12 degree angle. The legs are splayed 10 degrees and tapered 3 degrees. Rather than have a drawer, the front side hinges down for access to contents normally kept near an adult’s bed. (wink, wink). Woods are poplar, maple, pine for the backs. Finish is shelac with poly on the top. Joinery is biscuits with reinforcing blocks where not visible. Top is secured with pocket screws. Pictures are taken with my cel phone.

wait…I’m a little slow. What do adults keep next to their beds? I usually keep a glass of water, cellphone, laptop, and lamp. My desk drawer is where the magic is at…
