I built this project as a Christmas present for my fiance. She runs a lot, and has been accumulating medals for the races she has participated in. This box is designed to be completely flexible since she is still running races! There are three walnut dowels that the medals loop over and slide horizontally. I used a Wandel box joint jig to do the corners. The frame is 1” maple sandwiched between 1” square bubinga, and is approx 30” wide and 16” tall. Finished in 2 coats of tung oil. I originally planned to hang it on the wall, but it sets nicely in the living room by the windows. Thanks for looking!
