I decided to build one of the very popular YouTube projects called a “Rustic Cedar Cooler”.
There are literally several hundred variations on this project, and I randomly chose and copied
DIYPete's plan, which looked like something workable in my shop. Thanks Pete!
I’m not smart enough to do YouTube videos, and too lazy for all that, so here are the details:
Cedar and Hardware from Home Depot, Finish is Cabots Spar Varnish with two coats.
Pete has a set of plans at his website if you need them.
I laminated the logo for our local K of C Council into the cover, hence the removable cover,
vs. the cover being attached to the top.
This will be a donation to our 20th anniversary dinner tomorrow night for our K of C Council,
of which I’ve been a long time member.
Hope they like it,
