Hello all, its been a while but here is my latest. I got the idea from a woodworking magazine; however, this project is on a budget. Bench top is from a oak stair tread ripped in half and legs and support from old oak and pine boards planed and sanded. Top was stained and varnished. Legs were only varnished. Wood plugs for decoration and to cover some screws. I also used some pocket screws. This is one of my first projects working with oak wood and now I know screws don’t go in that easy on oak wood. It was a fun project.

I like that the legs come all the way to the top of the piece, looks great and makes it stand out!
