A friend wanted a keep sake box for his wife for Valentine’s Day. I didn’t have a lot of time and this is what I came up with. I added a marquetry rose in the top to signify Valentine’s Day. The box is cherry, and walnut with a rosewood veneer top with dyed veneer for the rose.

As always John, your marquetry is top-notch. Additionally, you built a beautiful box.
