This burr walnut veneered box was the start of my love affair with complicated decorated boxes. This has a drop down front, lift out trays, two small drawers, plus a small treasure chest in the tray. It houses a Sankyo 72 note musical movement, which have become a feature of a few of my projects over the years.

That is an absolutely beautiful box! That walnut burl is spectacular, and if it sounds as good as it looks, I’m sure it’s amazing!
