With the school year starting, It was time to buy a new world map and USA map. I bought the Rand McNally maps at Officemax. Only 10 bucks each. They were printed nicely on good looking quailty paper. So my wife I am talked about mounting them and framing them. Took the maps to Hobby Lobby. Had them mounted on foamboard. Brought them back home. Made some oak trim for the frame. Then frame them. I was surprised how nice they came out. This project was very cheap to do. Has given our kids alot of bragging to thier schoolmates. Heard them many times. “Look at our maps” glad they are proud of them.. In size they are 32×49. So its easy to spot countries, states, and cities. Just a project to help the kids but also made our home better looking.

Education never looked better. Great job on the frames and I’m sure the school would love to get to know you!

Oddly enough we have similar maps still in the roll sitting in our closet for about two years now and I am supposed to make frames for and hang in the basement. This has inspired me to get on it. Looks great!
