This was originally intended to house my $15 Harbor Freight multi-tool. My wife said “No way!” So, now it is a Valentines Day present for her. Joinery is mostly box joints using a homemade jig. Finish is Behlen instrument lacquer. I experimented filling a knothole with epoxy and turquoise. Materials are about $5 worth of walnut and maple scraps from the cutoff bin at the lumberyard. I guess I need to make another one for my multi-tool. Thanks for looking.

Nice box. Harbor Freight would’ve been proud.

Very nice, Chris. That knot looks either like the letter ‘S’ or a sea horse. Turquoise looks great, I don’t blame your wife for claiming it! Try to make the next not so attractive!
