built a maple cabinet base for my cooktop. it has a couple of shelves on drawer glides and a small wine cabinet storage unit, with drawers for my wines. i tiled the top and backsplash. i wanted something other than a standard square cabinet so i integrated some curves into the base. the “carving” on the stove legs is a purchased applique, but he bunch of grapes on the wine storage unit is hand carved.
