I ended up selling my little bandsaw and started scrolling to see if I liked it. Well, the little Shop Fox seemed to vibrate way too much for me, so I started shopping on CL. I found the deal of a lifetime and picked up the Dewalt for $100 (bragging a little). Much better tool, so I got hooked on scrolling over Christmas. My grandfather did a lot of scrolling and now I can see why. These are the items I made and gave as presents. Tiki to my son (mahogany and aspen), Girl Power to my daughter (poplar), Eagle to my father (cedar), candle holder and vases to my aunt (maple & walnut / cedar), and the Army symbol to my golfing buddy (red grandis and aspen). I would like to thank Steve Good @ Scrollsaw Workshop for the free patterns. I think this could be addictive however, I just got a 17” Grizzly band saw and think I’m ready to make more band saw boxes.

Nice job, I want to get using my saw also. I’ve got a lot of ideas I’d like to try.

I like this scary mask the most and those two vases.
