Once again I have the honor of making a clock for presentation to the current Grand Master of Masons in Ohio from the 12th Masonic District. Seems like that’s all I get done anymore :^).

He will no doubt love it. Is it cherry with a poplar panel ?

Yep, I wish I had used something else though. I’m not real crazy about the green tint. The plans showed it with a maple panel but I didn’t have any and thought it would look okay. I should have made the panel out of cherry. but once it’s glued in…...... Oh well, hindsight is 20×20. Live and learn.

The poplar looks fine – draws your attention to the clock

Great looking clock—I’m sure the Grand Master will really appreciate it!

Yep, the Square and compasses are maple. I was talking about the raised panel being poplar.
Thanks for the kind words. :^)
