I have started working on Navy items. This is a Chief Petty Officer Anchor which has a very long and celebrated history. This is my first effort and I think it came out exceptionally well. This was my second ever attempt at scrolling. It is made out of poplar and stained (cannot remember the colors). I stained the rope using the same stain as the anchor. Finished with spray lacquer. The knot tied is an anchor knot.

Great project and well done.
Just beware that scrolling is addictive although Scrollers Anonymous is available.
